Plustek
The Plustek brand has its roots in Taipei (Taiwan). Plustek Inc. was founded there in 1986, initially focussing on the manufacture of high-quality scanners as an OEM. The excellent workmanship, high quality and innovative design of the scanners generated the desired market response, with the result that scanners have also been produced and successfully marketed under the Plustek brand since 1988. This led to the foundation of Plustek Technology GmbH and Plustek's European headquarters in Hamburg in 1989. In the meantime, Plustek Technology GmbH has become a leading manufacturer of scanners for documents, graphics and photographs - for companies and private users alike. The product portfolio includes solutions for travel document, film and book digitisation and special innovative industry-oriented digitisation processes, including within tax consultancy, medicine and for security processes in travel and transport.
